Dans l’album GENS CAMBRINA \u00ab gens du m\u00eame pays \u00bb (Kenvroiz en breton), Violaine Mayor restitue un r\u00e9pertoire fascinant et m\u00e9connu : celui de l\u2019ancienne tradition de harpe de Bretagne. La harpiste interpr\u00e8te la musique m\u00e9ditative de l\u2019\u00e9nigmatique manuscrit de Ap Huw (Pays de Galles) et fait appara\u00eetre sa parent\u00e9 avec la gwerz et le plain chant. Ces pi\u00e8ces dansantes ou profondes, foisonnantes d\u2019ornementations, sont interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es avec les techniques de jeu historiques utilisant les ongles, sur des r\u00e9pliques fid\u00e8les de harpes d\u2019\u00e9poque \u00e0 cordes de bronze et d\u2019or. Cet album cl\u00e9 apporte un nouvel \u00e9clairage sur nos origines et notre culture. Trio de harpes, voix d\u2019enfants (Jean et Mika\u00ebl Herrou), fl\u00fbte, violon, bodhran et plain chant (Jo\u00ebl Herrou) parach\u00e8vent ce voyage dans la musique des sph\u00e8res.<\/p>\n
